Qualification required to become a Railway Engine Driver are given below.

=> Candidate must have at least Matriculate plus ITI course in specified trades.

=> The minimum age of candidate must be 18 years and not be greater than 30 years.

Qualification required to become railway engine driver:

You must have completed your 10th from recognised board and ITI in specified branch.

Age should be in between 18 to 30 years.

You have to qualify the entrance exam.

Here how you can apply for Railway Driver:

Apply to RRB for Engine Driver Post when notification is released and qualify the exam.

To become driver in Indian Railway (Loco Pilot) candidates have to appear and qualify in Assistant Loco Pilot entrance examination conducted by RRB.

The eligibility to appear for examination is candidate must have passed 10th and have ITI or Diploma degree from recognised institute.

So, if you have above qualification you can appear for examination. The minimum age limit is 18 years. For more information visit at www.rrb.gov.in.

Railway Engine driver recruitment exam is called by Assistant Loco Pilot exam which is conducted by RRB.

Those candidates who have completed diploma and ITI course from a recognized University are eligible for Assistant Loco Pilot exam.

Age criteria:-

Minimum age =20 years
Maximum age =30 years
