Hi dear..

I must say you have a good choice...but there are many aspirants in this field and only a few get successful

Now for becoming a formula 1 engineer you need to complete your graduation in Mechanical and Automobile engineering.
Another good thing to do, would be to join your universities Formula Student team, where you design, create and race a formula student race car against other universities around the world.
From what I hear, your efforts are judged by a number of Formula one engineers and sometimes the odd driver will be around too.
No doubt that would look rather good on your CV and give you something to talk about in your interview.

And remember one thing you need qualification in your CV to stand apart from others

I persume you've all already heard of this though, but in case you haven't, here's a link:

All the best..!!

Becoming an F1 (Formula 1) engineer requires a combination of education, skills, and experience in specific fields related to motorsports and automotive engineering. While specific requirements can vary depending on the team and role, here are the typical qualifications needed to pursue a career as an F1 engineer:

Education: A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, or a related field is typically required. Some individuals may choose to pursue a master's or doctoral degree to specialize further in specific areas of engineering.

Specialization: Developing expertise in areas relevant to motorsports engineering is crucial. This can include aerodynamics, vehicle dynamics, powertrain engineering, suspension systems, materials science, data analysis, and control systems.

Technical Skills: F1 engineers need a strong foundation in technical skills such as computer-aided design (CAD), computer-aided engineering (CAE), and simulation software. Proficiency in programming languages, data analysis tools, and control systems is also beneficial.

Motorsport Experience: Gaining experience in motorsport is highly advantageous. This can be accomplished through involvement in amateur racing, karting, university Formula Student competitions, or internships with racing teams. Practical knowledge of race cars, their systems, and the unique challenges of high-performance racing is valuable.

Problem-Solving and Analytical Abilities: F1 engineers must possess excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. They should be able to troubleshoot technical issues, analyze data, and make informed decisions under high-pressure situations.

Teamwork and Communication: Working effectively within a team is crucial in the fast-paced F1 environment. F1 engineers need strong communication skills to collaborate with other team members, drivers, and stakeholders.

Continuous Learning: F1 is a dynamic and rapidly evolving field, and engineers must stay updated with the latest technologies, regulations, and industry advancements. A commitment to continuous learning and professional development is essential.
