Required criteria to be eligible for CAT Exam?
i want to give cat exam..but i dont know that for this eligibility of graduation is needed or not..please give me all requirements for cat exam..

CAT Eligibility
The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA [45% in case of the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Differently Abled (DA) (It may also referred to as Persons with Disability (PWD) category)], The percentage of marks obtained by the candidate in the bachelor’s degree would be calculated based on the practice followed by the university/institution from where the candidate has obtained the degree. Candidates appearing for the final year of bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed degree requirements and are awaiting results can also apply. If selected, such candidates will be allowed to join the programme provisionally, only if he/she submits a certificate latest by June 30, 2012 from the Principal/Registrar of his/her College/Institute (issued on or before June 30, 2012) stating that the candidate has completed all the requirements for obtaining the bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification on the date of the issue of the certificate. Eligibility Criteria
ELIGIBILITY: The candidate must hold a Bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (45% in case of the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste(SC) / Scheduled Tribe (ST) or Persons with Disability (PWD) category), of any of the Universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India or other educational institutes established by an act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of UGC Act, 1965, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India. The Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification obtained by the candidate must entail a minimum of three years of education after completing higher secondary schooling (10+2) or equivalent. The percentage obtained by the candidate in the bachelor's degree would be based on the practice followed by the university/ institution from where the candidate has obtained the degree. In case of the candidates being awarded grades/ CGPA instead of marks, the equivalence would be based on the equivalence certified by the University/ Institution from where they have obtained Bachelor's degree. In case the University/ Institution does not have any scheme for converting CGPA into equivalence marks, the equivalence would be established by the IIMs by dividing obtained CGPA with the maximum possible CGPA and multiplying the resultant with 100. Candidates appearing for the final year of bachelor's degree/ equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed degree requirement and are awaiting results can also apply. Such candidates must produce a certificate from the Principal/ Head of the Department/ Registrar/ Director / Director of the University/ Institution certifyingthat the candidate is currently in the final year / is awaiting final results and has obtained at least 50% marks or equivalent (45% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/ PWD category) based on the latest available grades/ marks. Graduation pass in any stream with minimum 50% marks for General and OBC candidates and minimum 45% marks for the SC/ST candidates. You must have a Graduation degree in any stream with 50% marks from a recognized University for CAT. Reserved categories like SC/ST/PWD get 5% relaxation of marks.
Hence if you have above qualification then you apply for the examination if not then you have to apply for other entrance exam. CAT is Common Admission Test for admission into IIMs and other top MBA colleges in India. There is no upper age limit for this examination.
