I'm B.E. prefinal student. I want to know if I'm eligible for sail exam.

can B.E. student apply for sail recruitment?

You are not eligible to appear the SAIL engineer trainee/management trainee
recruitment exam.

Only final year students or graduates can apply for the post.

You are required to produce results at the time of joining which is impossible
for pre-final year students.

If you are so ambitious about going into SAIL or other public sector undertaking
companies, you should start preparing well from now.
You have one year remaining for the preparation.
If you prepare from now it would be very easy for you next year.

You can refer books of GK Publishers of your stream for PSU and GATE preparation.

u need to graduate in any one the fields like comp sc., electrical, chmical,Mechanical. With 65% (50% for reserved category).Max age limit is 30 yrs.

you are not eligible to sit for sail exam in your prefinal year. for SAIL eligibility criteria is that candidate already passed graduate. so you first pass your graduation than apply to sail.

to be eligible for SAIL examination you must have bachelor degree in one of these engineering branch.

i) Mechanical ii) Electrical iii) Metallurgy iv) Chemical v) Electronics &
Telecommunications vi) Instrumentation vii) Civil viii) Ceramics and ix) Computer
Science from a recognized University/Institute with minimum 65% marks in aggregate of
all years/semesters (50% in aggregate for SC/ST candidates). For Computer Science
discipline, those having recognised Master’s Degree in Computer Applications (3-year
course) with minimum 65% marks in the aggregate (50% in aggregate for SC/ST
candidates) are also eligible.


as you are in pre-final year then you are not eligible for SAIL examination now. but after completion of your B.Tech you will be eligible to apply for SAIL.

Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering in any of the following disciplines:
i) Mechanical ii) Electrical iii) Metallurgy iv) Chemical v) Electronics &
Telecommunications vi) Instrumentation vii) Civil viii) Ceramics and ix) Computer
Science from a recognized University/Institute with minimum 65% marks in aggregate of
all years/semesters (50% in aggregate for SC/ST candidates).

You are not eligible for this year,you can apply for SAIL exem next year...
Because a final year student or a graduate student can only apply for this exem...

EVERY TIME IAM LOGIN AND I ONLY FOUND PROVINASIONAL SLIP AND I DONT GET ANY CONFIRMATION MAIL ON MY EMAIL ID I dont knw what cn i do?

i hv done BTECH in information technology scored 7.19 cgpa is there any seat 4 it student....

yup you are eligible for sail.... your college will provide you Cgpa to % convertor... get it...

if you have 70% you are eligible for each and exam in india.... i too have 7.14 cgpa ie, 71.4 %(according to my college) ....

if i take rank in my gate exam then can i selected for your esteemed organisation on the rank basis???
