The Bank clerk exam is conducted by many banks and SBI(State Bank of India) is also conducting the clerk exam for the post of clerk in various branches.

Previous years question papers are available on the internet,but I will rather suggest you to follow R.S. Agarwal and and one magazine name "Pratiyogita Kiran". You will have lots of help from there .

SBI Clerk Exam Eligibility Criteria:-

• You need to be a citizen of India.
  
• You need to pass higher secondary exam or its equivalent with not less than 60% of marks in aggregate. There is relaxation for reserved category candidates.
  
• If you are a diploma holder then also you can apply provided the degree is a regular one and you have got 60% of marks in it.
  
• If you are a bachelor degree holder then you need 40% of marks at graduation level.
  
• Your age should not be less than 18 year and it should not be more than 28 years either.
  
• You need to know the basics of computer. It will help if you have a certificate to prove that.

Exam Pattern:-

• There will be five sections in the exam and from each section 40 questions will be asked and the same number of marks have been allotted for each section.
  
• Mainly objective questions will be asked and question paper will be set in Hindi and English both. Just the English Language paper will be in English for obvious reason.
  
• There is a Minimum passing percent you need to guarantee to get selected. There would be 5% relaxed for SC/ST/PWD/EXSM/OBC candidates.
  
• Stress on the following areas: General Awareness, General English, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability and Marketing Aptitude/ Computer Knowledge.
