Re: Shortcut methods for Maths in Bank PO exam?
well friend dont waste time looking for shortcuts.
you wont be able to apply them in exam... there is much less time to consciously do anything... do whichever thing comes first to your mind. for that you should follow what you learned whole life. shortcuts are not much useful. if you want you can learn vedic ,maths .. they may be a little helpful. Join some good coaching they will teach you all that is needed. and practice a lot as much as you can .. in limited time mock/practice papers etc. |

Hello friend,
There is no other shortcut method for solving quantitative aptitude questions other than your creative mind. So making fast calculation you have to practice more and more. You can purchase R.S.Aggarwal's quantitative book to practice good questions. You can also purchase shakuntala Devi's puzzle book for solving apti. there is another book called VEDIC MATHEMATICS...in this book you will get all the shortcut methods for solving multiplications and division. |

Re: Shortcut methods for Maths in Bank exam?
Hello everybody my name is sonu,i m also prepearing for bank exam@if anybody want tricky method to crack exam just follow my advice do practice ! I have many tricks to tell you .
1)square a number ex:43=square the first digit no. And square the second no. And place zero to make it four digit number but the no. Is 43 in this no. 4*4=16 and 3*3=9 , 16 is already in digit form so make nine into two digit no.that is 09(always put 0 in front of the no. To make it two digit no. So we get 1609. Next step multiply orignal no. 4*3=12 and double it and place 0 after that is 240 now add 1609+120= 1849 (ans) my mobile no-9547126924 if anybody want help just sms me your proplem i will solve.bye |

Re: Shortcut methods for Maths in Bank PO exam?
dear friend,
There are different trics and some of them I have mentioned here and I also have attached a document which is very interesting. Just find the attachment. 1.Dividing by 5 Dividing a large number by five is actually very simple. All you do is multiply by 2 and move the decimal point: 195 / 5 Step1: 195 * 2 = 390 Step2: Move the decimal: 39.0 or just 39 2978 / 5 step 1: 2978 * 2 = 5956 Step2: 595.6 2.Quick Square If you need to square a 2 digit number ending in 5, you can do so very easily with this trick. Mulitply the first digit by itself + 1, and put 25 on the end. That is all! 252 = (2x(2+1)) & 25 2 x 3 = 6 625 3.Multiply by 9 This one is simple – to multiple any number between 1 and 9 by 9 hold both hands in front of your face – drop the finger that corresponds to the number you are multiplying (for example 9×3 – drop your third finger) – count the fingers before the dropped finger (in the case of 9×3 it is 2) then count the numbers after (in this case 7) – the answer is 27. ~regards~ priyo06 |
