I wanted to know if doing pgdm is worth mba?whch is better and y?

PGDBM is post graduate diploma which can be offered by any inst
MBA is the degree which universities are providing. eg symbiosis, NMIMS, UBS etc.

According to me the institute is more important than the courses , because both the courses has same kind of opportunity .
I will suggest you before choosing between MBA and PGDBM, you first choose between institute .

hi friend.
if an university is providing a post graduate degree in business administration than it is called as mba while if an autonomous institute provide the same degree than it is called as pgdm. both these course are equivalent. the only thing which has to be kept in mind where the institute is approved by aicte/ugc or not, if approved than no worry you can take admission over there, if not than dont take admission over there, you will not be eligible for government jobs after pursuing from the institutes which are not approved by ugc/aicte, or not to take admission in government university to study further.
so justify these things before taking admission into pgdm.

In India both have similar value.
PGDM is a diploma while MBA is degree

PGDM is given by autonomous institute, while MBA is given by universities.
Both are good.
