is there any sports quota in iit jee (for football national player)

According to my knowledge there is " NO " sports quota in IIT-JEE.

NO there is no sports quota for any kind of national exam..

well there IS NO sports QUOTA IN IITs.

there is only quota available for SC/ST and OBC students as per the rule .other then that
there is no quota in sports .

good evening,the counselling of the sports and games is conducted separately after the main counselling is over... a half % of the reservation is given to the sports and games... the counselling procedure is as follows...

1) the lowest ranker who applied for the sports counselling will be called first
2) By verifying all your certificates, a score will be alloted to you
3) If you have played a International tournament more marks.. say(5)
4) If you played a National tournament some what less than the above.. say(4)
5) If you played a State level tournament less than the above.. say(3)
In this way the Score is given to you!! based on this score.. the highest scorer will get a chance to choose the college first. best of luck for the counselling..

In IIT JEE there is no sports quota,

IIT has only three quotas

OBC... 27% around

sc/st...15%/7.5%

disabled..pd quota..1%
(40% reservation)

there is no other quota all other students have to come through

IIT JEE Admissions Query

IIT JEE Admission doesn't provide Quota For Sports , NCC or any other Co-curricular Activity.

These Quotas are Only Valid in some state level Exam. In IIT JEE Only Resevation Quotas are Available

Only Reservation of Seats are available in IIT's Like If you are under OBC then 27% Quota for you, if You are Under SC/ST then 15%(7.5%) and For PH its 1%.

No Quota for Sports Person...

There is no Sport quota for any national or international player in IIT exam .

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

• The candidate must have passed their 10+2 examinations from a recognized board.

• The candidate can appear in the Joint Entrance Exam two times only, that also should be in consecutive years.

• The candidate must be physically fit for the course for which they have applied.

• The candidates who will be giving their final examinations of 10+2 in 2011 are also eligible to apply.

because this is a tough quota and there is only for reservation is given by government ...........

for sc,st,ph,ex-serviceman...........and other reservation is available here but i think sports quota is not available...........

No such Sports Quota is there Because IITs offers admissions truly based on the Merit.

There is no sports quota in IIT JEE.

Reservation of seats:

: For SC/ST candidates, respectively 15%, 7.5% seats

For OBC candidates belonging to non-creamy layer, 27% seats

For candidates with physical disability (PD), including leprosy-cured candidates, who are otherwise fit to pursue the course, 3% seats

Two seats in each institute are preferentially allotted to children of defence/paramilitary personnel killed

Both Indian institute ie Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) and Indian Institute of Management (IIM) doesn't have any quota for Sports.
However, there may be brownie points in IIM admission under extra curriculum for people good in sports.
