Standard of eyesight to work on a ship for STCW holder?
Hello sir, I have completed STCW course and I am using spectacle. I want to know what is the standard of eyesight for working on a ship?

Eyesight required: Usually, candidates who wish to work on ships need to have 6/6 eyesight in both eyes to be eligible.
But, as you have completed STCW(Standards of Training, Certification and Watch keeping) course, you can apply for working on ships though you have spectacles. |
