Respected Sir/Madam, I want to become a Deputy Superintendent of Police. I am studying in 12th standard. Kindly let me know about the steps through which I can become a DSP. Thank you!

For recruitment as DSP, candidates have to appear and qualify in UPSC CSE or State PCS examination.

The required educational qualification to appear in the examination is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree from a recognised university.

So, you have to pursue bachelor degree to become eligible for appearing in the examination. Age limit varies with examination.

Examination is conducted in three stages.
