NDA is National Defence Academy. The examination is conducted by UPSC. It is conducted twice in a year .

It provides a better opportunity to candidates to join the service after std 12th.

The minimum required eligibility to appear in the examination is that candidate must have passed or appearing from a recognised board. The age limit is 16.5-19.5 years.

For recruitment in Indian Navy, it is mandatory to have passed or appearing in 12th with
PCM as main paper.

For more information visit at www.upsc.gov.in.
