Being a Class 10th passed candidate, to become a mechanical engineer, you are required to first complete your Class 12th in Science stream with PCM subject combination from a recognized board of education followed by B.Tech./B.E. in Mechanical engineering degree course. Further, instead of a regular Class 12th school degree course, you can even opt for Diploma in Mechanical engineering course of three years and then join B.Tech in Mechanical engineering course.
