Which stream and subject option to opt in 11th to get into Indian Army?
Hi, I am a female candidate and I want to get in Indian Army. I have completed my 10th and about to get admission in 11th. So, which stream should I opt in 11th to get in Indian Army easily? What would I have to do after 12th?

For joining Indian Army, you can join any stream (Science/Arts/Commerce) in 11th and 12th while studying in any recognized school affiliated from the Board. There is no restriction for any particular stream or subject for joining Indian Army.
Unmarried Male Candidates can join Indian Army directly after 12th through exams like NDA, TES 10+2, etc. Female candidates cannot apply for NDA, TES 10+2. However, they can apply for CDS Exam for OTA (i.e. Officers Training Academy) which requires graduation to be eligible for it. For OTA, age of the female candidates should be between 19 to 25 years. Both married and unmarried female candidates are eligible to apply for OTA. |
