i m doing my BE (CSE) FIRST YR whether i m elligible fr tnpsc exam???? if i m elligible wat type of group exam can i write????///

There are two exams for which you can apply through TNPSC (Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission) after passing 10+2.These two exams are :

1. Sub Registrar Group II.
2. Junior Employment Officer.

Educational qualification required :

• Your minimum educational qualification should be 10+2 pass out in any discipline from recognized board/university.
• You should have English & Tamil as compulsory paper in 10+2.

Age required :


A)For Sub Registrar Group II

• Minimum age should be 20 years.
• Maximum age Allowed is 30 years.

B)Junior Employment Officer

• Minimum age should be 18 years.
• Maximum age Allowed is 40 years.

Selection Process

• Written Test (Objective Type).
• Oral Test.
• Document Verification.

Exam Pattern for Written test

• It will include questions from Two Paper.
• Each paper will include 100 Questions.
• Total marks for Each paper will be 150 marks.
• Total duration of this exam will be 3 hours.
• Minimum marks required to Qualify this exam is 102.

Exam Syllabus

I)Paper I - General Knowledge.
II)Paper II - General Tamil/General English.


Candidates can take General English/General Tamil as per candidates choice.
All questions will be from 10+2 level.
