Both the Courses are good, it depends on your Interest and your Goal in Future.

BBA stands for Bachelor of Business Administration and
BCA stands for Bachelor of Computer Application.

For Both the courses you have to complete your 12th examination from a recognised Board.

But If you choose BCA then you have to study Maths as a compulsory subjects in your 12Th examination.

BBA gives you Knowledge about Management Skills and After completing this course you can start your career in different sectors like finance, HR, marketing, consultancy, banking fields. BBA course will gives you Knowledge about Business and entrepreneurship Skills.

To get admission in BBA Course you have to complete your 12Th examination in any discipline from a recognised Board, the admission is Based on entrance examination, Group Discussion and Personal Interview. You have to scored minimum 50% marks in your 12th examination with Engilsh from a recognised University, Only then you are eligible to get admission in BBA Course.

If you are Interested to take admission in BCA, then for this you have to complete your 12Th examination with Maths as a compulsory Subjects.

BCA Course will Provide you Knowledge about Computer Software Skills and after completing this course you can Start your career in IT industry as a Software Programmer.

which to choose is depends on your interest.

if you are interested in computers and programming languages and has a good logical thinking then go for BCA.
after completing BCA you can do MCA or MS.
you can get good job in software industry.

if you are interested in Management and administration then choose BBA.
after completing BBA you can do MBA.
by this you can get good job or you may establish your own firm.

both are good options but according to me BBA then MBA in an institute like IIM then going for a job is the best option.

As per your query, I would ask you if you should take up BBA or BCA, I would say that both the streams are good, and you must go for the one in which you have interest and can see your future.


I am providing you details about both the courses so that you may decide which one you want to take up.


1. BBA stands for Bachelor of Business Administration.

This is basically a managerial course which can be taken up as a graduation stream.
One needs to be a minimum 12th pass from a recognized school or state board to study BBA.

If you so this, you would be dealing with the fields like Sales, Marketing, Human Resource, Finance, Accounts, Research, Recruitment's, Entrepreneurship, International Businesses etc.

Any streamed student can take up this course so as such no such restriction for only the Science or Commerce or Arts students are there.

BBA is not a technical course, so it is usually done by the Commerce and Arts streamed people and students.
This would be 3 year full time program.


2. BCA stands for the Bachelor in the Computer Applications.

This is a technical course which is basically a computers related stream. Even this is a graduation course, and anyone who has passed class 12th can take up this course.

But Maths subject is compulsory to have studied if you wish to do BCA as your graduation.

So this is an added criteria to the ones for BBA.

If you take up this course, you would lay your actions on C language, C++, And core Java, software testing, programming, software developments, IT researches, etc
This would be a 3 year full time program.


So now after reading this, it shouldn't be much difficult for you to decide which career you want to take up.

both the courses are good and it depends on your interest of what you want to do in future .If you r interested in management than go for an BBA and if your interest is in technical line then choose the option BCA.

If you have interest in management field then you can go for BBA course.
After completion of BBA course you can go for MBA course.
Which is very much job prospective.


If you have interest in computers then you can go for BCA course.
After completion of that you can go for MCA course.
Through which you can get a good job in different IT sector.

Booth the course are good.
You chose want you want. Don't compare the course.
If you are interested in B.C.A or B.B.A then you chose it and work hard you will defiantly get success.

So don't see what other think about other you do what you want so that you can get success easily.
