Which subject combination is required in 11th and 12th to study BCA in colleges located in Chennai?
Hi, I have completed my 12th Board exams from Science stream with BiPC subject combination and scored 50% overall. I did not had Mathematics in my 11th and 12th. So, can I get admission in BCA in any recognized colleges in Chennai? Please, also let me know about some colleges in Chennai where I can try for admission in BCA.

Note that Mathematics is not mandatory subject for purusing BCA course from an institute.
To pursue BCA course, you should have completed 12th standard from a recognized Board with at least 50% marks (with English as mandatory subject). Since, you have done 12th with 50% overall, so you can apply for admission to BCA course. I have listed below recognized colleges of Chennai offering BCA course.

-For BCA course minimum educational qualification required 12th passes with 50% minimum aggregate.

Following subjects are in BCA courses:
Computer Fundamentals. C-Programming. System Analysis & Design. In-depth Working of Computer Sub-system. Organizational Behaviour. Visual Basic. Computer Laboratory & Practical work. Therefore, course in Computer Science and Engineering or Information technology students aspiring for a BCA course do not need to have Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects in their Class 12th examinations |
