Dear Sir, myself Susmita Maharana. Now, I am in PG 2nd year. I am doing my PG in LIFE SCIENCES. So, I study both Zoology and Botany subject but I completed my graduation in Zoology hons. Now, I am confused which subject I select for UGC NET - Zoology or Botany or both as Life Sciences? Please sir tell me which subject I should prefer for NET exam.

UGC doesn't offer life science as a subject , thus one must choose a subject that is closely related .
There is no botany in UGC NET , thus you can opt environment science .

As per the CSIR NET , for being eligible for life science , candidate need to persue academic qualification in the field of life science .
Chemical science - candidate must have MSc / BS/B.tech or similar degree in chemistry with required percentage.
