Is Surname compulsory for a government job?

Hello everyone.. am so confuse about what to do right now.. my name is Angel Barrack D (Example).. my name in my 10, 10+2, graduate n even master are all in d above name. And when i apply for pan card , the last initial was expanded (Angel Barrack Duke) n i cant use pan card as an id for any exams. My questions is, if i keep my name as it is (Angel Barrack D) like in all my education documents, will i have any trouble later if i get a government job? Will they accept the current name????? is it ok if i just leave it like dat?

m so confused please help me.....................

Yes they will accept it for all the exams and it doesn't matter. Surname are not that important and in your case it is clear.
But if you face any problem, then it is easy to make correct your Pan Card.
Applying for a Pan Card costs you 108 Rs, so Please try to apply for it with correct name and surname. You will get Pan Card in a week or two. This might be useful for you for the photo identity as well as name identity.

---Surname is important for getting any government jobs when its attached with your name on starting level.

--If your main board exam marksheet is without surname then it's not compulsory.

---But you faced some problem if your documents name is not matched.
