AFCAT (Air force common admission test):
The syllabus of AFCAT exam is basically is of secondary school examination and hence will test students in the areas mentioned below. The entrance test will be of two hours duration and will contain multiple choice questions on : •verbal ability, •numerical ability, •reasoning, •general awareness and •aptitude. AFCAT i.e Air Force Common Admission Test Syllabus Quote:
You need to be 60% aggregate in all your Years in graduation. (More Details See the Notification) Syllabus Consists of Reasoning, Verbal ability, General Awareness , Numerical ability & General Aptitude. Exam will be of 2 hrs Duration with Objective questions. For preparations:- Books you should refer R S Agarwal quantitative aptitude, For Gk. Go for manorama, Competition success Review magazine. General Awareness Go Books for IAS. A Sample paper i have uploaded you can have a look on it. Note:- Last date to fill AFCAT form was 22nd February, & exam Date is on 27 April 2011(Sunday). |

AFCAT Exams Are Objective Type And In This Examination, You Will Get Questions From These Areas -
I Will Suggest You Just Purchase The Book Of R.S.Aggarwal, If You Really Interested To Prepare For Reasoning And Numerical Ability Section. The AFCAT Entrance Exams Will Be Of Two Hours Duration And Will Contain Multiple Choice Questions. |

The courses for which you are applying are:
-Flying Branch -Technical Branch -Ground Duty Branches the syllabus of AFCAT is same as the syllabus of various competitive exams like LIC, BANK PO, MBA entrance exams... So I would suggest you to follow those competitive books..... It will be sufficient for AFCAT exam. The date of Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT): 27 March 2011. so prepare yourself as you have very few time left. |

A graduate degree from a recognised university with 60% aggregate. On the official site of AIR FORCE ACEDAMY you can see the detail but I am sending you the syllabus and scheme of exam including sample paper. |

paper mainally have question from generl knowledge,mental ability and reasioning. in general knowledge-question are from current affairs and indian polity mainly. so for general knowledge read FRONTLINE regularlly. for logical reasioning study R.S.AGARWAL. |
