Syllabus for IES examination? Pattern of examination?
I am a B.E 1-2 student. And i want to know that syllabus for IES examination will be constant or not, after completion of my graduation. Also please inform about how the exam paper model will be when i get a chance for the exam?

IES Stands for Indian Engineering Service Which is a Administrative Service , The exam is conducted through UPSC , The candidates have to appear Civil Service Exam.
The exam eligibility criteria: The candidates should be a citizen of India. The candidates should be a graduate from a recognize university in B.E or Equivalent. IES stands for Indian Engineering Services.
IES examination is conducted by UPSC(Union Public Service Commission). Eligibility to appear in IES are -Candidate must be a citizen of India -Candidate must be of age 21-30 years -Candidate must have Bachelor degree in Engineering. Age relaxation up to 5 years in upper age limit is possible for SC/ST and that of 3 years for OBC. IES examination paper will be of total 1200 marks. There will be a paper of 200 marks which include General English and General Studies, two objective papers of 200 marks each and two conventional papers for 200 marks each too and 200 marks will be for personality test.
