You need to appear for the SCRA exam. The exam is scheduled for 31st July. The application forms will be available till 25th April. You need to be well prepared in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. You can refer the 12th CBSE books for the same. Also be prepared in areas like English, GK and Mental ability.

The Railway Mechanical engineering exam is known as the SCRA exam.

You will have to appesr for SCRA exam.SCRA exam is considered on of the toughest exam. For clearing scra you will have to study hard.Below i have listed eligiblity criteria for the same. below are the eligibility details for the scra exam:

Basic qualifications are listed below:
Age limit------ 17- 21 years.

Age relaxation
SC/ST------5 years
OBC-----3 years


Educational qualificatios

First or second division, in the Intermediate with Mathematics and atleast one of the subjects Physics and Chemistry .
Graduates with Mathematics and atleast one of the subjects Physics and Chemistry as their degree subjects.

SCRA exam of 2013 is over.
Next year SCRA notification is given 05/10/2014 in Employment Newspaper.
Last dates of application is 04/11/2014
Date of Exam is 12/01/2014
