There is no test center for symbiosis entrance test In Jammu. You have not mentioned about the course for which you are going to give the entrance exam; based on which I could tell some alternatives (other good universities) apart from this.
So, in general, I can suggest the following other reputed universities which you should also look; where infrastructure, fee structure, placements, exposure, environment, etc are really good:
1) Delhi university
2) JNU
3) Lovely Professional University
4) Panjab University
5) Osmania University
6) ICFAI University...........etc
