Is there any age relaxation for Ex-Serviceman in Jharkhand PSC?
I am an Ex-Servicemen retired from Indian Air Force as Sergeant. My current age is 37 years. Can I apply for Jharkhand Public Service Commission and get any age relaxation under Ex-Servicemen categories?

Re: Is there any age relaxation for Ex-Serviceman in Jharkhand PSC?
Yes, there is provision of upper age limit relaxation for Ex-Serviceman of 5 years in there respective categories while appearing for JPSC Combined Civil Services examination.
Further, the age limit for appearing in the same examination for Unreserved/EWS male candidates is 21 years to 35 years while the upper age limit for Unreserved/EWS/OBC female candidates is 38 years. Also, the upper age limit in case of OBC Male candidates is 37 years, SC/ST candidates is 40 years. For complete details regarding the JPSC Combined Civil Services examination, you can refer to the link www.jpsc.gov.in. |
