Intelligence Bureau Recruitment Notification has been issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs,Government of India.Its details are as follows :

Eligibility requirement :

~Essential qualification :-
-->>Candidates should have a Bachelor degree in any discipline from any recognized university.

~Desirable Qualification :-
-->>Candidates should have the Knowledge of Computers and they must have done any short term courses related to computer(Not for Bachelor degree Holders in Computer Science/Application/Information Technology).

~Age Requirement :-
-->>Candidates minimum age should be 18 years.
-->>Candidates age should not be above 27 years.

~Age Relaxations :-
-->>SC and ST candidates will get 05 years of age relaxations.
-->>OBC candidates will get 03 years of age relaxations.
-->>Departmental Candidates who have worked for at least 03 years will get up to 40 years.

Candidates who are Physically Handicapped will not get any relaxations and they are also NEED NOT apply for this exam.

~Exam Pattern :-

1. There will be two sections.
2. Total number of questions will be 100.
3. Total duration of entrance test will be 1 hour and 40 minutes.

~Exam Syllabus :-

• Section I will be objective type and it will include questions from General Awareness,English Language,Reasoning and Mathematical Aptitude.
• Section II will be descriptive type and under this sections you will be given three topics and you will have to write on any of these topics with 400 words.This section is used to check the candidates writing Skills and thinking power.

Age relaxation on the basis of gender is not there in Intelligence Bureau ACIO examination and you have to follow the same age that men follows.

The age limit for IB ACIO is 18-27 years for General category candidates. There is age relaxation for reserved category candidates.

SC/ST - 5 years relaxation

OBC - 3 years relaxation

So if you belong to any of the reserved category then you will get age relaxation as specified in the notification.

Exam Pattern IB ACIO:

The will be an objective type paper and a descriptive type paper.

Objective type paper will have questions related to General Knowledge, Maths, Reasoning and English .

The descriptive paper will test your English skills and the questions will ask you to write letter and precise paragraph.
