Is there any age restriction to pursue LLB course?

Sir, I am 35 years old now and I have completed my B.Com. Now, I want to study the LLB 3 years course. Am I eligible? Can I pursue LLB from IGNOU? Or, is there any other university offering LLB via distance mode?

LLB is Bachelor in Legislative Law. It is three year course from a recognised university.

The eligibility to get admission in the course is that :-

Candidate must have passed bachelor degree from a recognised university.

No age limit to get admission in the course.

The distance degree is not valid as per Bar Council of India.

So, it will be better to pursue the course in regular mode.

** The minimum age of the candidate should be 17 years.

** As per the given age, you are eligible to get admission in LLB course.

You have completed B.Com course and so you are eligible to pursue LLB course.

There is no age bar to get admission in the course.

The examination is conducted by various institutes for admission in the course. As Bar Council of India does not recognise the distance LLB course, so there will be no benefit o pursuing the course in distance.

IGNOU does not offer LLB course.

No, there is no age restriction to pursue LLB course. If you have completed graduation with 45% marks you can take admission in LLB course. Universities like DU and BHU require minimum 50% marks while Universities like Rohtak, Kurukshetra, Meerut only 45% marks in graduation.
