How to apply for Custom Officer jobs? Is there any examination conducted for custom jobs to apply? Can you tell me the exam name to apply for custom job and can you tell me when these exams are conducted and how to prepare for it?

UPSC conducts Civil Service examination for recruitment as IAS, IPS as well as Custom Officer. So, you will have to appear and qualify in the examination for final selection.

The eligibility is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree from a recognised university. The age limit is 21-32 years with relaxation for reserved category.

Application form for the examination will be available at www.upsc.gov.in.

There is no separate examination for recruitment of Custom Officer. Candidates after appearing and qualifying in Civil Service examination is eligible for recruitment as Custom Officer.

The examination is conducted by UPSC in three stages. Candidates have to appear and qualify in all stages for final selection.
