If SI means Sub-Inspector then it is not necessary to have llb degree for recruitment.
For recruitment as SI candidate need to appear and qualify in CGL examination. CGL examination is conducted by SSC every year. The eligibility to appear for examination is candidate must have passed bachelor degree from any recognised university. The age limit to appear for examination is 18-28 year with relaxation in upper age limit. The examination is conducted in three stages and candidate have to qualify in all stages for final selection.
