NO, there is no as such physical requirement for the post like you mentioned above. You just need to fulfill the eligibility criteria to fill the examination form. After online application you need to appear in the examination which now a days is conducted via online mode. Once you clear the online examination, you will be called for the personal interview. You need to perfrom well in the interview too as the final list of candidates selected is being made on the basis of written test and interview.

You need to appear in the SSC-CGL (Staff Selection Commission - Common Graduate Level) exam and need to be in the merit of the post. The exam is conducted online in two phase.
1. Preliminary Exam
2. Main Exam

After clearing the preliminary exam a candidate need to appear in the Main exam. Interview is taken after you clear the Main exam and lie in the merit for the post.

Preliminary Exam structure:

There will be 4 section in the exam.
1. General Studies
2. General and Reasoning Aptitude
3. English
4. Quantitative Aptitude

Main Examination :

There will be two paper in this exam.
1. Quantitative Aptitude
2. General English

Staff Selection Commission conducts Combined Graduate level examination for the post of Income Tax Inspector.

For this exam, minimum academic qualification required is bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university. The age limit is 18 to 27 years.

It has different stages:

Tier I

Tier II Written Test

Personal Interview

When you clear all these three stages, you will be called for the physical test for Income Tax Inspector.

For Female candidates, physical requirements:

Height: 152 cm

Weight: 48kg

Walking 1 km in 20 min and cycling 3 km in 25 min.

For male candidates, physical requirements:

Height: 157.5 cm

Chest: 81 cm

Walking 1600 min 15 minutes and 5 km cycling in 30 minutes.

Yes, you must satisfy the physical criteria if you clear the written test and interview of SSC CGL exam for Income Tax Inspector post. The physical criteria is different for male and female candidates.
