I am serving as a Soldier in Indian Army. I want to know, is there any reservation for PhD admission in Uttar Pradesh state? If yes, then what percentage or number of seats are reserved?

For admission in any Ph.D. program, you need a merit based on your post-graduation degree. Those who have qualified NET or SET are preferred for admission at reputed universities. Hence, make sure you qualify for admission to such courses.

For armed forces personnel, there isn't any benefit while getting admission, but when you are applying for any government job you can get the benefit of reservation available for the ex-servicemen category.
