Re: Is there any restriction for CA-CPT after completing B.Com with computer applications?
CA CPT stands for the Chartered Accountancy Common Proficiency test. No there is no restriction for CA CPT exam if you have done bachelor of commerce with computer applications. Any candidate who has done 10+2 from a recognized board can appear for the CPT exam conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India twice every year in the month of June and December.
However being a bachelor of commerce candidate, you can direct apply for the Integrated Professional competence course stage which is the second stage of Chartered accountancy. But for direct entry you must have scored at least 55% in bachelor's degree in commerce. As per rules candidates who have scored 55% in B.com and 60% in other streams can directly enroll for the IPCC. If you donot have such percentage then you will have to clear the CPT test. For more details, visit the official website of ICAI www.icai.org. |
