Hi, I am presently pursuing my B.Sc Computer Science hons. degree and I wanted to know whether do I have any role in Indian Army or not? If yes, then in which department and at what designation can I apply in Indian Army?

There will not be that much coding part in your job if you are joining Indian Army.

But yes, your job will be to encode/decode signals and their relative frequency used by enemies for communication.

Mainly, your work will be in signal and communication branches. Such kind of training you will get in IMA and OTA.

Here, both the terms stand for following:

• OTA - Officer's Training Academy
• IMA - Indian Military Academy
