Yes, it is true that the certain government organizations may take in the candidates based on their score in the GATE exam. There may be openings in the various government organizations. The notifications regarding the job vacancies will be published. It will be specified that the candidates will be selected on the basis of the GATE score. Companies such as NTPC, BEL, IOL etc select the candidates based on the score in the GATE exam.

Yes, it is true that the certain PSU'S like INDIAN OIL RECRUITS ENGINEER TRAINEEE based on their score in the GATE exam.
