Is it true that EEE is though and has less scope in India?

Sir I completed my higher secondary. Now i am so confused on choosing the course. My interest is more in electronics, but my friends told that EEE course is so tough and it has less scope in our country. This thought slightly confused me. Please give me clear mind to choose the course.

There is no such course that seems really tough if you have interest in any concerned subject. As far as my best knowledge is concerned, EEE (Electrical Engineering) course is not a tough course. Yes, there is a good scope for Electrical Engineering candidates.

After successful completion of the course, i.e., B.E/ B.Tech in Electrical Engineering you may find employment opportunities in
* Private Sector
* Core Sector
* Government Sector

You may find employment opportunities in the following organizations after successful completion of B.E in Electrical Engineering course. Some of the organizations are, BHEL, BEL, Essar, Coal India, Godrej and Boyce, L&T, IOCL, HPCL, ONGC, Reliance, Siemens, Mahindra and Mahindra, Escorts, Essar and Ashok Leyland.
