I am a 33 years old candidate and belongs to Schedule Caste category. Am I eligible to apply for the post of Police Constable in Kerala Police? What is the standard upper age limit? Is there any age relaxation for SC candidates in Kerala Police?

The eligibility criteria to apply for post of Constable in Kerala Police:

1. You must have passed senior secondary board examination from a recognized board.

2. The age limit is 18-25 years for candidates of general category. OBC and SC/ST candidates are eligible for upper age relaxation of three years and five years respectively.

You cannot apply even if you belong to SC/ST category at age of 33 years.

The eligibility criteria to apply for post of Constable in Kerala Police is described as below:

>>Candidate must have done 12th from a recognized board. Those who have done 12th can apply for this exam.

>>The age limit is 18-25 years.

OBC and SC/ST candidates are eligible for three years and five years upper age relaxation.

Age limit to apply for the post of Constable in Kerala Police:-

The age limit for general category candidates is 19 to 25 years.
It is relaxed by 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC /ST candidate.
This means, OBC candidates up to age of 28 years can apply for this exam.
The minimum height required for OBC is 167 cms and 155 cms female candidates .
Chest expansion required is 76 to 81 cms.

Minimum age limit to apply for the post of constable in Kerala police is 18 years

Maximum age limit to apply for the post of constable in Kerala police is 26 years.
