UPSC ESC exam for final year B.Tech (IT) student?

I vaibhav rajankar student of AMIETE B.Tech IT Last semester appearing
Sir may i eligible for UPSC ESE Exam Sir send me some details about eligible criteria. sir I am Waiting for your feedback.

Hello Vaibhav,

Sorry to inform you that you are not eligible to apply for the UPSC conducted ESE exam.

Because this exam is held for four branches of engineering namely: Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics and telecommunication engineering.

So according to this, CSE/IT graduate students are not eligible to apply for this.

It will be better for you to try for other Govt job options.

hello sir ...i hav done my b.tech(IT) 2010...m eligible to apply for upsc engineering service 2011..advertisement 19-02-2011...IT is not core branch so i just want to know whether it is consider or not...plz rply
