What is the age criteria for admission in LKG under CBSE or ICSE affiliated schools?
Hi, my daughter's date of birth is 4th January, 2016. Is she eligible for L.K.G for this year (2019-2020) under any schools affiliated to either CBSE or ICSE Board of education? Please clear my doubt.

Minimum age for admitting your ward to LKG standard of CBSE and ICSE school is 3 years 6 months.
As you wish to admit your daughter for session 2019-20, so till 2019, she will be more than 3 years 6 months. Hence, she will be eligible for admission to LKG standard in CBSE as well as ICSE Board schools. |

** The minimum age required to get admission in LKG under CBSE or ICSE affiliated schools is 3 years 6 months.
** As per your daughter's date of birth is 4th January 2016 i think she is not eligible to get admission in LKG under CBSE or ICSE affiliated schools. ** Also, to be eligible to appear in 10th standard board examinations, the minimum age required is 15 years. |
