My son is born on 23rd April, 2009. Now, he is in Grade 6th and will complete grade 6th in March, 2020. Will he be eligible for class 10th as per his age and regular school?

As per the rules defined by MHRD for schools, minimum age to appear for Class 10th for a student should be at least 14 years (on 1st October of that year in which student is pursuing 10th standard).

Since your child was born on 23rd April, 2009. Then, on 1st October 2019, his age would be 10 years 6 months. And currently, he is in 6th standard.

Similarly, after 4 years, he will be in 10th standard and his age would be 14 years 6 months. So, yes, he is perfectly eligible as per his age for 10th standard.
