Re: What is the age limit of ex army person in Maharashtra Police?
Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) conducts entrance for recruiting the candidates into police department.
The eligibility requirements for the police in Maharashtra are given below: - The candidate should be a citizen of India. - The educational qualification required is to complete graduation level degree from any recognised university. - For Constable and other few posts the educational qualification required is 10+2 or its equivalent education from any recognised board. - The age limit required is 18 - 25 years. The upper age limit varies based on the post like for sub inspector it will be 33 years and so on. - There is age relaxation for reserved candidates based on the government rules like for OBC it is 3 years, for SC/ ST it is 5 years and for ex-service man it is 8 years. For more details about the physical requirements, notifications and application forms you can visit the official website of Maharashtra Police. |
