UPSC - Union Public Service Commission conduct various entrance exam for various Central Govt. Departments such as NDA/CDS/SCRA/IES/Civil Service Exam etc.

Age Limit for Various UPSC entrance Exam:-

NDA - National Defence Academy - 16.5 to 19 years with no upper age relaxation for any reserved candidate.

CDS - Combined Defence Service - 19 to 25 years with no upper age relaxation for any reserved candidate.

SCRA - Special Class Railway Apprentice - 19 to 28 years with upeer age relaxation for reserved candidate

IES - Indian Engineering Service and Civil Service Exam - 21 to 30 years with upper age relaxation for reserved candidate.

The Full form of UPSC is Union Public Service Commission. The UPSC Conducts a number of examinations every year and all the examinations have different age limits.

But i think that you want to know the detailed information regarding the Civil Services Exam.

So , below i have mentioned all the necessary information regarding the Civil Services Exam.

The Civil Services Exam is conducted every year for the selection of candidates in the following services :

* Indian Administrative Services

* Indian Police Services

* Indian Foreign Services

The Minimum educational qualification required for UPSC Civil Services Exam is Graduation in any stream from any recognized college/university.

* The Age limit for Civil Services Exam is :

a) For General Candidates : 21-30 yrs

b) For OBC Candidates : 21-33 yrs

c) For SC/ST candidates : 21-35 yrs

* The Candidate must be a citizen of India.

* The Maximum No. Of Attempts Allowed :

- General Category candidates can appear 4 times.

- OBC Candidates can appear 7 times.

- There is no limitation on the No. Of Attempts for SC/ST candidates.

There will be an Age relaxation applied for the RESERVED candidates

This is a Commission which conducts various entrance exams for candidates to join in different departments of Serving the country

The age limit needed for the UPSC exam consist of many as you are not peculiar about the exam which you need to know.

The minimum age limit needed for the UPSC exam will be the NDA exam as for it you need to have 16 1/2-19 years ofa ge

Apart from that there are severl other exams and for the CDS Exam it is 19-24 years of age

SCRA exam it is 17-21 years

For the IAS,IPS,IFS,IES exam the General category age limit is 21-30 years of age

There are certain upper age relaxation

UPSC is union public service commission.
The age limit required for Upsc exam is:

for general category: 21 to 30 yrs

for sc/st: 3 year relaxation

there are many upsc exams like NDA,IES, IAS, IPS etc. all follow the same age criteria.
