what is the age of army?...could u please tell me what is the requirement

Hi !!
Age requirement for Indian Army is as follows :-

1. Permanent Commission - Maximum age limit is 30, 31 and 32 years as on 31 December of the calendar year of application.

2. Short Service Commission - Maximum age limit 45 years as on 31 December of the calendar year of application

For getting into ARMY there are two criteria:

1. National Defence Acadamy, NDA
2. Combined Defence Service, CDS

• NDA

This exam held twice a year.


Eligibility: +2 or equivalent with maths and physics pass with a minimum of 60%.

Age : 16 1/2 to 19 years


Must be unmarried male candidate


Nationality: INDIAN

• CDS

This exam also happens twice a year


Eligibility: Graduation with minimum 3 years or BE/B Tech final year students can apply having a aggregate of 60% (any stream).


Age: 19 to 23 years


Both females and males are eligible.


MUST BE PHYSICALLY FIT!


SUBJECTS TO BE PREPARED:


MATHS , ENGLISH & GENERAL KNOWLEDGE BOTH EXAMS.

The age limit for different post if different according to the post for which you have applied.

-If you are applying for NDA Examination after 10+2 then your age should be between 16.5 to 19 years and must be an unmarried male.

-There is Technical Entry Scheme after 10+2 for which age should be between 16.5 to 19.5 years.

-For Non Officer's posts like Clerks, Soldier and Nursing Assistant age must be between 17.5 to 23 years.

-For Graduates who want to join Indian Army though CDS exam should be between 19 to 25 years of age.

So you can apply according to your qualification.

The selection will be purely based on the written examination , SSB and Medical Fitness test.
