What is the difference betwen ica & icwa

Please tell me I have completed my graduation 2015 (63.5%) . I am working is an toll company back office in pune what is sufficient for me ? ica or icwa ?

ICAI stands for Institute of Chartered Accountants of India
ICWAI stands for Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India.

One who qualified as a Chartered Accountant, can verify the books of accounts of company and he can certify them
One who qualified as a Cost Accountant, can find out the what will be the cost of product per unit considering all the Manufacturing, Office and Selling & Distribution Expenses.

Both are professional course which plays a vital role in indian economy.

However while doing comparison between ICAI and ICWAI, CA is best one. One who qualifies as a Chartered Accountant, can find more career opportunities compared Cost Accountant.

Chartered Accountant can be appointed as an Auditor, Tax consultant, financial analyst, Business Analyst, Consultant in various manufacturing, service type and IT industries.
For Cost Accounts, there will be more opportunities in Coal mines and manufacturing industries.
