For any branch in B.Tech course PCM is mandatory subjects. There are several
Branches/Disciplines in B.Tech Engineering:
Civil Engineering
Mechanical Engineering
Chemical Engineering
Computer Science and Electronics
Electrical Engineering
Electronics Communication
Aeronautical Engineering
Information Technology
Automobile Engineering
Print Engineering
Mining Engineering, etc.

AND
Biotechnology.

Which branch you can get depends on the institution where you are applying. Whether you fall under their eligibility criteria for the programs you choose or not and it also depends on you. Which branch suits you more? All the branches are good as far as job prospects and future is concerned. It is not something you chose out of fun, your entire career depends on this. Hence, i would advise you to give second thought to which ever branch you chose.
