Women Candidate, having done B.Tech in Information Technology may join the Technical Branch of Indian Army under short service commission.

To be considered eligible, the women aspirant must be unmarried and within the age limit of 20-27 years.

Apart from that, one may also write Combined Defense Service Examination, conducted by Union Public Service Commission, to join the non-technical branch of Indian Army.
To be considered eligible for the examination, candidate must be a graduate in any discipline, within the age limit of 19-25 years.
