The Himachal Pradesh University offers B.Ed program through regular as well as distance mode. To get admission in the regular program candidate must have completed his/her Bachelors Degree with a minimum of 45% marks with any stream [40% for Sc/St candidates] from a recognized University. Beside this one has to go through Competitive Written Examination conducted by the University itself. The admission is held in the month of June/July every year. The duration of the program is 1 year.
To pursue correspondence mode one must be working as a teacher in any Govt. recognized school since two years if not more. The duration of the course is 2 years.
