Re: What is the difference between B.Tech and B.E in engineering?
There is no actual difference between the B.E. or B.Tech it is just the two way of calling a course as one likes it .
B.E. stands for Bachelor of engineering where as B.tech stands for Bachelor of technology .These are 4 years course consisting of 8 semesters after completing which one head towards becoming an engineer . The educational qualification required for pursuing this course is senior secondary degree with Science stream with Physics , Chemistry and Mathematics as the main subjects from a recognized board with at least 50% aggregate in each of the following mentioned subjects . There are many type of courses (trades) available in this bachelor degree course few of the top having more demands are as here under :- Electrical and electronics engineering . Electrical and communication engineering , Computer Science engineering , Mechanical engineering , Civil engineering , Aeronautical engineering , Marine engineering , etc. . Depending upon your performance in your board examinations and various engineering entrance examinations like JEE , State EEE , Comed-K and other private colleges entrance examinations you will be offered the engineering courses for your degree . |
