What is the difference between CDS Group 1 exam and CDS Group 2 exam?


Hi, could anybody please tell me about the differences between CDS Group 1 exam and CDS Group 2 exam? Or this both same only? Is the eligibility criteria same for both? What is the syllabus of each?

There is nothing as Group 1 and Group 2 in CDS. CDS examination is conducted by UPSC twice in a year. It is conducted in two stages.

The required minimum educational qualification to appear in the examination is that candidate must have passed or pursuing in bachelor degree from a recognised university.

Examination is conducted in two stages - Written and SSB.
