What is difference between Computer Engineering and Software Engineering?

Is there any difference between Software Engineering and Computer Engineering? What is the content of each course? Which would be better? What is the cut-off for colleges affiliated to Bangalore University?

The main difference is that the software engineering is related to the software, while computer engineering is related to the hardware.
Thus, software engineer must possess string programming skills, but are often more concerned with developing algorithms and analyzing and solving programming problems than with actually writing code.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
