What is the difference between IES and engineering service exam conducted by UPSC?
what is differnce b/w IES(INDIAN ENGG SERVICES) & ENGG SERVICES EXAM conducted by UPSC..
if they are the sane, then why two different names given to them. ies exam is conducted in june, & engg services exam is conducted in dec of year.. please help me.......................................... |

I.E.S is known as Indian Economic Services in U.P.S.C and is totally different from Engineering Services Exam.If any doubt check it in UPSC website rather than google

IES and engineering services exam is same or not? I applied for engineering services exam in upsc and i refer a book of IES for electronics and telecommunication..I think that book is for indian engineering services...that book is useful for ES exam??
