What is the difference between Improvement and Compartment examination?
I have passed the 12th Board exams from Science stream overall under CBSE Board's curriculum. However, I failed in Physics theory which was my additional subject. So, now which exam do I have to give Improvement or Compartment?

Improvement exam is given if you are not satisfied with your marks and want to improve your score and the exam can be given when you have successfully passed in all the subjects ,whereas compartment exam is given when you have not passed in some of the subjects ans can appear only those particular subject and can clear those subject and can continue your degree further
