hi i want a pure description for b.tech mechanical that what i have to b.tech and after b.tech and what line i have to choose in b.tech (like other line) and after b.tech

Mechanical engineering is the basic course of engineering which has been started from time immemorial.
Taking mechanical engineering is very good. It will deal about the machines and the theory of mechanical engineering.


So after your Mechanical you have variety of options:

1. you can go for M tech in Mechanical engineering. For this you have to write GATE exam and select the course in which you are interested in.

2. You can also write GRE and go for doing MS abroad.

3. You still have the chance to go for MBA also by writing CAT,MAT,XAT etc.

My friend after B.tech in mechanical you can go for M.tech if you have interest in technical field and you want to do further study on your stream.. for that you have to appear in GATE exam , which is conducted by IIT's...

otherwise you can go for management field.. for that you have to do MBA.
there are lots of entrance exams for doing MBA like- CAT,XAT,MAT etc..
after clearing the exam , you have to go through the GD session and interview..
after completion of your MBA you can get a very good job with high salary....

if you want to go abroad for higher study then you can appear in GRE...

now you decide in which field you want to go..

After B.Tech Mechanical
You can definitely go for a job as mechanical is always an evergreen branch
You can pursue M.Tech in case you want to study further
You can go for IAS job also as Mechanical engineering students ar also eligible to take the test
you can also take IES test

I am very surprised to know that even after doing B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering you
are thinking about changing line. This question tells me about lack of confidence in you.

If you have completed B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering you should go for job in some
government or private firm or you can go for higher studies in the same stream.

There are plenty of jobs in Mechanical Engineering so if you change your line of study
you will somewhat decrease the probability of getting a good job for you.

You should revise the B.Tech. syllabus very well and prepare for the jobs in following
companies.

NTPC
SAIL
ISRO
DRDO
BEL
BHEL
Monnet Ispat and Energy Limited
Jindal South Western Limited
Jindal Steel and Power Limited
Coal India Limited

All these companies publish notification for jobs on their website and in Employment News.

You should be attentive from November onwards regarding the jobs according to your
qualification.

apart from that you can apply in the govt jobs.

if you are getting a good job just after doing b.tech in mechanical engineering, then you must not leave the job. otherwise there are a lot of job opportunities available for mechanical engineers both in private as well as public sector. you can apply for them.
if you are thinking pf higher studies, then you must not change your line. i know many b.tech students change their line and do mba but it is not preferred for mechanical engineers. you must give gate exam and get good marks in that exam to get admission in a good college in m.tech. doing m.tech from a good college like nit or iit can give you a very good salaried job in the campus placement only.

In today's date the Mechanical branch of engineering is the most preferred branch of the students in the IIT or the NIT or some other govt and private engineering colleges and universities because of the excellent placement record in the core companies and good future prospects ....

As you have completed your studies of the B.Tech through the Mechanical branch then you have many options after this .

You can go for the higher studies or you can take the jobs in the various core and other government and the private companies ...

For the higher studies you can go for the GATE exam .
And for the jobs you can even give the IES or the Civil services exam .
Or you can go in the government and private core companies like that of the ::
SAIL
DRDO
NTPC
HEC
TATA STEEL
JINDAL STEEL
and many others ..

You have two options after completing your btech. They are job and pg courses. You do mba and after that plenty of job opporunities available

i have done btech mechanical from IIT got job at BHEL can i take it or go abrod for furter studies

hiii friend...here i can help you...you have many oppurtunities after btech...........you can join in a job...or you can go for abroad to study MS by writing GRE and TOEFEL exams........or you can write GATE exam to do mtech...in india

hiiiiiii i m doing b tech from a private collage in punjab..
the collage is not having very high placement reord..
i m in 4th sem.. now i haVE TO FOR MY 6 WEEKS traing..
where i have to go for.. so that it can help my in my placement

Dear friend after mechanical you have lots fields to join,
you can go for jobs in any technical field
or you can go for masters in engineering (M.TECH) or management (MBA), then you can go for Ph.D.
its totally your choice,

but when you want to be in pure mechanical filed then go for M.Tech. and then Ph.D then you can go for job
for jobs you have to apply only for mechanical companies like Kirloskar, Mahindra etc
